The spirit of Competition in Sports and Games, as well as in co-curricular activities, is fostered through a wide range of Inter House Competitions. We recognise that children excel through friendly and healthy competition. Hence pupils of the school from Primary classes upwards, are assigned to one of four Houses – YELLOW, GREEN , BLUE and RED. Activities and Games are non-competitive at the Kindergarten level.
Speech & Drama
Speech and Drama is a unique programme at MVM to enhance and boost the personality profiles of students and to develop them into eloquent and articulate individuals.
Through this programme, pupils learn to communicate effectively in English, enhance the qualities of articulation and assertiveness, as well as developing dramatization skills.
We consider that exposure to Social Service is a quintessential part of character training and development, and leads to the wholesome development of the personality. Hence, students are provided a range of opportunities to serve the community, both through on campus and off campus activities. Students are also rewarded with academic credits for participation in these activities.
The intellectual development of the child is further enhanced, by complementing learning from books, with field trips so that children can observe the real life application of concepts learned in the classroom. Field trips are organised for all classes as appropriate and are a compulsory part of the MVM – holistic education programme.
