“OUR ALUMNI, OUR PRIDE” – RECONNECTING, SHARING AND INSPIRING
️Many of our alumni visited our school on working days and registered complaints that they were not allowed to visit our school. This point was discussed in the Board, and the reason communicated to some individuals was that a few alumni who had completed their Senior Secondary education very recently came to functions like Sports Day / Annual Day and created unwanted disturbances, such as teasing the present students, especially girls, in front of dignitaries. This created an unpleasant situation.
The measure was never instructed by the Management to anybody not to allow the alumni to come to school. It may be that the staff/security, based on the incident, administered this as an unwritten policy on precautionary grounds.
However, the stand of MVM Management is that we are always proud of our alumni in spreading the knowledge of Maharishi across the country and the globe. Especially, the School Management is proud that the holistic education provided to our wards has been a great background for their knowledge and skills, enabling our students to outperform in the competitive world when compared to students from other schools.
️In the recently concluded Board Meeting, the Chairman has advised the School Management to promote the Alumni Meet in a designed or planned way, at least twice a year, on January 26th and August 15th. The main purpose of the meet is to understand from the alumni how they have settled down and are performing in various fields. Through this, we can motivate the present students.
Validating the theory of holistic education is always a better tool in comparison to just mastering a particular skill like sports or academics individually.
We have developed our school campus to the expectations of the future generation at very affordable school fees. We wanted to take up/share this knowledge with all our alumni, so that they can use it for their wards as well as their near and dear ones.
️We also would like to conduct research on how the practice of TM has helped the children to perform better and, if needed, MICI wants to strengthen this activity of taking TM to deserving individuals through our team of trained teachers who are available on our campus, unlike those days when only a few individuals were available once a year, etc.
WITH BEST WISHES
MVM MANAGEMENT
